Homeschool Physical Education

A Functional Movement Physical Education class for homeschoolers that focuses on teaching students how to move their bodies efficiently, safely, and with purpose, mimicking real-life actions rather than focusing solely on competitive sports. This type of PE builds strength, balance, coordination, and confidence for daily life and long-term health.

Activities focus on building motor skills, body management, and coordination (e.g., jumping, skipping, balancing, object control like throwing/catching). Classes generally revolve around seven foundational movements: squatting, lunging, pushing, pulling, hinging, twisting, and walking/running.
